Plugs and receptacles for refrigerated containers and terminals

Rugged one-piece enclosure.
Through tightening of the gland, the cable grip works automatically and safely and the gasket seals simultaneously. Additional gearing on the gland provides an audible click when tightened and protects the gland from becoming loose. Furthermore it works as a protection against kinking.

Nickel-plated contacts and high heat-resistant contact carriers
guarantee increased protection against corrosion and overheating.

Many thousand MENNEKES plugs and receptacles have stood the test over decades.

On ships and in container terminals. Receptacles with DUO interlock, dependable and safe. After the plug is inserted and the switch is turned to the ON position the plug is interlocked. When the switch is turned to the OFF position the plug can be withdrawn and the switch is interlocked.

Safe enclosure thanks to foamed seals, free from silicone, CFC, and halogens. Thanks to the high flexibility of the seal, type IP 67 protection is ensured even after years of use.

Switched and padlocked receptacles.
