LED Display Systems for Indoor/Outdoor Use / Indoor Display Board

• What is the difference between indoor and outdoor systems?
• Unlike the indoor system, high luminance LED, salt damage protection, and/or cold-climate protection are required for the outdoor system.

• What character sizes are available for LED Character Display Unit?
• Various sizes are available from 30 mm to 320 mm which uses 16×16, 24×24, or 32×32 dots. Contact us for details both for indoor and outdoor use.

• Is it possible to display in multi-color?
• 7- and 64-color displays are available. Contact us for details.

• What information are necessary for the estimation of LED Display Panel?
• Following information are required: where it is used (indoor or outdoor) , visible distance, number of characters, character color, the environment in which it is installed (whether salt damage/cold climate protection is necessary or not), the interface used to display characters, etc.

• What communication interface is used to display text?
• It is possible to display text by entering JIS codes of the characters required to display through the interface RS232C or TCP/IP (10Base-T). Standard interface is available.

• Is it possible to display the text stored?
• From texts previously registered through PC, it is possible to display any text by referring its number.

• What types of display functions are available?
• Characters that may be displayed: JIS Level 1 and Level 2 kanji, kana, katakana (full size & half size), alphanumeric characters (full size & half size), symbols, and external characters.
  Display functions: Fixed display, scrolled display, display color, reversing display, blinking display

• What color is recommended for chassis?
• It is possible to coat with any color instructed in Munsell color notation. For coating the outdoor display panels, it is recommended to use environment-protecting color (5YR2/1.5).

• What is the LED luminance?
• Depending on the specifications of element, luminance and field of view are generally contradicting factors. Therefore we will select the element ideally suited for the environment where it is installed.

• Could you undertake installation work?
• We will be pleased to undertake installation work whether it is indoor or outdoor use. Details will be arranged after field survey.

• What is the quake-resistance of LED Display Panel?
• As we are ready to propose a work plan suited for installation environment with strength evaluation, contact us for details.

• Can you prepare the drawings for approval?
• As we will participate in the stage proposing the plan, it will be our pleasure to prepare the drawings.
